Princess Shyngle took a step back from social media last month after the death of her father, Winston Shyngle - a former deputy mayor in Banjul.
In a Facebook post on August 17, the former Nollywood star, who's currently the most followed Gambian woman on social media, disclosed her father was her best friend.
"My hero, my mentor, my happiness, my king, my whole world is gone.
Daddy my heart is hurting, I don’t think I can live through this, I don’t want to imagine life without you," she wrote.
Princess continued: "You left me in this cold world alone, who is going to be there for me now, who I’m I gonna call and vent to about my day, who is gonna relax me and calm me down when I’m going through it, who’s gonna make me laugh when I’m down, who’s gonna be praying for me as you do.
"Daddy I’m so going to miss you, you gave me the best childhood, the best dad in the world, so humble, calm, sweet, smart, intelligent, generous, loving, caring, God-fearing, there can never be another you. The world has lost a good one."
The former actress appealed to her 1.5million Facebook followers to pray for her and her family. She also told them: "If your dad is still alive go give him a big hug and tell him you love him."
Princess is yet to disclose when exactly she would return on social media to share new photos and videos.
