It’s not uncommon for Gambian girls to walk down the aisle with a European man often times old enough to father them. But the decision of Fana Vaughan of all Gambian beauties to marry a toubab is something every Gambian man should be jealous of.

The former model, who worked with some of the country’s top designers, was probed about the subject by What’s On-Gambia last week during an online conversation.

According to her, marrying a toubab is nothing extraordinary. She claims there are no differences between them and black men.

Fana and her husband got married last year in The Gambia after a whirlwind romance.  She described him as “a gift from God.”

When asked if there is anything special about toubabs, especially in the bedroom, she responded. “It is like marrying a black man. No difference.”

Fana’s husband is one of the European investors in the country. He is the owner of Galaxy Properties – a real estate agency. It is not surprising that the couple live in a mighty mansion.
