The Gambia's most expensive footballer, Yankuba Minteh, is set to marry Aisha Touray, the daughter of Assan Touray, CEO of Pristine Consultancy.

A family member disclosed to What's On-Gambia: "Aisha Touray lives in the USA with her parents, who are Gambian-Americans, originally from the URR. She will marry Yankuba Minteh on Thursday, July 4, at Banjul Perseverance."

When asked how the couple met, he replied: "I don’t know that. I came to know about their relationship a few months ago. It was her father who told me."

Aisha is currently in the UK with her soon-to-be husband, who was recently signed by Brighton from Newcastle United for £30 million, making him the country's most expensive footballer.

"Yankuba is a young talent that has attracted a lot of interest, so we're delighted to welcome him to the club," said Brighton technical director David Weir.
