What’s On-Gambiahas just learnt that Fatoumata Coker and Zahra-bin (Binta Jarjusey) were involved in a fight which caused chaos at the Penchami Hall on Independence Day. Both girls are famous photographers.
The scuffle, which took place during a Joluv Arts Entertainment concert, was allegedly sparked by a story published on What’s On-Gambia about Aziz Corr’s controversial wedding to Yam Jah.
A source said Fatoumata Coker was hired to photograph the wedding. She was assisted by Ansu Mboge, who she is now accusing of having links with What’s On-Gambia.
“She sacked Ansu from her company, and when she saw him at the Penchami Hall, she began to verbally abuse him. This was what upset Zahra and she decided to intervene.”
The source added: “Fatoumata is still accusing Ansu of providing What’s On-Gambia with photos from Aziz Corr’s wedding.”
But why did she get into a fight with Zahra?
“She was also accusing Zahra and all those close to Ansu of trying to bring her business down,” said our source.
Witnesses to the brawl said Fatoumata Coker was the first to throw a punch. She was accompanied by her husband, who nearly got into a fistfight with State of Mic’s Alhagie Manka.
The incident was reported to the Kololi Police Station, and it is still under investigation.
