Bai Babu and T Smallz were last week denied visa to travel to the Unites States where they were billed to share the stage with Senegal’s Mbaye Dieye Faye.

The musicians’ visa application was rejected by the US Embassy, according to reliable information reaching What’s On-Gambia.

They were invited by AGERA, a famous Gambian association in Atlanta, to perform at their annual gala night this weekend.

A member of T Smallz Suso’s Katato Movement told What’s On-Gambia: “They were refused visa because the organisers didn’t send them a work permit. How do you expect the embassy to give them visa with only an invitation letter?”

Bai Babu and T Smallz, according to the source, are not planning to appeal the consular officer’s decision.
