The founder of BlaXit, Juliet Ryan said President Adama Barrow is a humble and intelligent leader.
The Gambia-based Black British activist and her family were at the State House on Friday to meet the Gambian leader. The meeting, according to Standard Newspaper, was facilitated by National Assembly members Majanko Samusa, Alagie Jawara and Saikou Marong.
“We were surprised to learn that the president actually watches our YouTube BlaXit channel which has over 3.5 million views. He is a really intelligent and humble man who is also dedicated to the grassroots. He welcomed us home and quoted Peter Tosh, Julius Nyerere and other Pan Africanists,” said Juliet, who is also known as Nyancho Kujabi.
Juliet became a popular Pan Africanist after her interview with Ghanaian YouTuber Wode Maya that garnered millions of views on social media platforms.
She later opened her own YouTube channel. The famous activist said: "The BlaXit Channel is dedicated to the positive promotion of The Gambia and Africa."
He expressed her delight at being grant audience by President Adama Barrow, who is currently warming up to seek re-election on December 4.
