She was branded as an “old fool” and a “dirty woman” by the British public after astonishing claims that she has slept with two Gambian brothers during her holidays in the country.

Deborah Winfield is 54 and she is apparently one of the many European elderly women who travel to The Gambia in search of sex from young men, who oblige in exchange for gifts and money.

She started dating 33-year-old David Trawally on the first day of a week-long break in the country. According to the Mirror, the pair hit it off so well that the rest of her trip was spent on getting to know each other.

“We had a wonderful time,” she said.

Even after returning to UK, the divorced gran-of-eight was in constant contact with David, hoping they would walk the aisle one day.

She started visiting the country frequently and got to know David’s friends and family including his brother, 22-year-old Issa.

Deborah told the Mirror: ““Issa was so easy to talk to and such a caring guy. He was so open with me. I’d been worried David was hiding things from me and Issa’s openness ­highlighted that.”

After discovering that the 33-year-old was already married to another British woman, the sex tourist decided to end the relationship.

Not long after, she jumped into bed with Issa.

She said: “I thought he was the perfect person to help me through the break-up.”

Two years later, the 22-year-old proposed during one of Deborah’s visits and asked for her hand in marriage.

The couple were to get married in March this year but she claimed it failed because the age gap began to show. She ended the engagement leaving Issa “heartbroken”.
