The Clash of the Titans took over The Gambia last Saturday and the event was a roaring success as music lovers flocked to the Independence Stadium to enjoy the best in Senegambian rap.

More than 10 Gambian and Senegalese rappers performed, including Bai Babu, Manding Morry, Dip Doundou Guiss and Canabas.

According to Njillan Cena Faye: ““It was lit.”

The creator of the festival, Gee said: “This is an example of what can happen if we all come together. We had less than ten days to make it happen and we did it.”

He continued: “I can’t really estimate the number of people that came.  But it’s a crowd that wouldn’t fit in any hall.”

According to Gee, the planning for next year’s Clash of the Titans will be getting underway soon.
