Get set for one of the biggest music events in the country, as rappers from both The Gambia and Senegal warm up for the Clash of the Titans on the 24th December at the Independence Stadium.
Headlining the festival will be Dip Doundou Giss, Gee, Canabasse, Bai Babu, Vypa, OG Log, Zou Kana and Manding Morry.
The main man behind it, Gee told What’s On-Gambia: “We're all rappers on the line-up but everyone has something that separates him from the rest. Rappers have huge egos and whether or not it said every rapper considers himself as the best. Battling or Beefs isn’t the purpose of the show though.”
He added: “Gambians and music lovers should expect Rap/Hip hop music at its finest, everything Senegambia has to offer on one stage.”
According to Gee, who is widely believed to be the country’s numero uno rapper,Clash of the Titans is not only a music festival but also aims to promote and acknowledge rap music’s contribution to broader Senegambian culture.
