As with every ethnic group, Fulas have a unique culture and tradition peculiar to them. And for the past four years, Fulbe Africa – a non-political and non-profit youth-led association- has been at the forefront of efforts to promote the culture of the Fula people in The Gambia.
The association will be celebrating its 4th anniversary at the prestigious Jaama Hall, Kairaba Beach Hotel on the 30th December, 2016.
The event, which is expected to headline local artists like Emperor Amiru and Ranking (the Fulamanding), is mainly aimed at celebrating the efforts of community leaders who have contributed immensely in the preservation and promotion of the Fula cultural heritage.
“We are inviting everyone to join us at Jaama Hall on the 30th December,” said one of the organisers, Ousman Sowe.
