If you thought Dr. Olugander’s career is over, think again, for the international reggae star is still gracing the stages in Europe and Africa.

On the 29th August, 2015, Dr. Olugander will be in Kenya – for the first time - to take part in a charity concert alongside renowned Jamaican reggae musician, Turbulence.

The organisers, Raw Entertainment, are raising money for a dispensary in Kandara, a poor community in central Kenya.

Speaking to What’s On-Gambia from his base in Helsinki, Finalnd, the Little Gambia hit maker said: “I’m glad they selected me out of many to work with them. I like helping the poor through my music.”

Olugander continued: “It’s going to be a live band concert and it will be featured on Kenyan TV. I am glad to be associated with it. Kenya is a big country, so it’s also an opportunity for me to score new fans, and also represent The Gambia.”

Dr. Olugander is undoubtedly one of the most famous Gambian reggae exports. He has performed in different countries in Europe and Africa.
