Fight between two semesters allegedly forces flight to make emergency landing

A Vueling flight from Spain to The Gambia reportedly turned chaotic when two Gambian semesters got into a physical altercation, forcing an emergency landing.

According to a source, the flight had to make an emergency stop in Gran Canaria. The incident took place approximately an hour and 45 minutes before the flight was scheduled to arrive at Banjul International Airport.

"We were flying from Barcelona to Banjul when the fight broke out between two passengers," the source explained. "Due to security concerns, the flight was diverted."

Describing the scene, the source said, "I was shocked when I saw police officers boarding the plane through the rear door and arresting one of the men, who was heavily intoxicated. He was the one who caused the fight."

The source added, "He was harassing the cabin crew, and when another passenger stepped in to ask him to stop and let the staff do their job, he started hurling insults at her."

The intoxicated  was left behind in Gran Canaria, though the source did not disclose his identity.
