A National Assembly member (name withheld) has been accused of practicing witchcraft against some members of his own party, according to reports received by What's On-Gambia.
A source, speaking on condition of anonymity, revealed, "He is involved in witchcraft. I believe it’s important for the public to know how some of these individuals climbed to the top of the political ladder."
The source added, "Just imagine if this man were to become president."
Although witchcraft is widely regarded as un-Islamic, it remains a common practice among many Gambians. When asked about the specific type of witchcraft allegedly performed by the National Assembly member, the source could not provide details.
However, the source claimed that the politician is using extreme forms of witchcraft to maintain his influence and relevance within his political party.
