A TikTok page called everythingmigrant revealed earlier this week that a French woman took her own life after discovering that her Gambian husband of many years was leading a double life. 

The man allegedly had another wife and children in The Gambia, which he managed to keep hidden from his French wife throughout their marriage.

A TikTok user named Anna Engström commented: "Many of the Gambian men who are married to foreign women are also married in The Gambia."

Another European woman added: "Not surprised at all. This happens all the time across Europe."

Meanwhile, one Gambian TikToker in the comment section wrote: "Good. What did she expect from him? She already has her kids and wants to prevent him from having his own."

The page did not reveal the name of the French woman or where the incident occurred.
