The Gambia High School Alumni Network – GAN has donated two laptops and cash to the school’s robotics team as they prepare to represent The Gambia at the Pan African Robotics Competition (PARC).
GAN announced on their Facebook page on Saturday, 3rd Match, “GAN executive today presented two laptops and a cash donation to GSSS robotics team.
“Earlier they had won the National robotics competition and sometime later this month will be heading to Rwanda for the Final competition. Please join us to congratulate the Robotics Team and staff and a special gratitude to GAN community.”
The country’s leading robotics team will be leaving for Rwanda in the coming days, where the competition is taking place from the 25-28 March.
This year’s PARC is expected to attract students from different parts of the continent. They would be challenged to devise solutions to provide access to quality health services using science and technology.
