Gambian with courage: Dr Pa Modou Lamin Tekanyi Is one of the youngest doctors in the country. The former St.Peter’s Senior Secondary School student obtained his medical degree at the University of The Gambia (UTG). He did his clinical electives training in the United Kingdom at the Princess Royal Hospital and Sussex University Hospital.Â
Fondly known as Teks, Dr Tekanyi is described as a hard working and ambitious young man. During his secondary school days he never content with low marks.
Currently on a clinical training program in Internal Medicine at the Taiwan International Healthcare Training Centre, Taiwan, the young doctor is a die-hard Chelsea FC fan.
Dr Teks hopes to become an Orthopedic Surgeon. Thumbs up!
