Vivi Amie

Vivi Amie Chris was a cute young girl when she got married to Tin Tin, who was one of the wealthiest men in the country.  The marriage contract was sealed to the shock of some Gambians in the face of their age differences. Yet, the couple of the moment at the time insisted they were genuinely in love.

Unsurprisingly, Amie and Tin Tin’s relationship turned out to be a classic case of here-today-gone-tomorrow, and the now actress had confessed to friends that sleeping behind her flamboyant ex-husband was one of her biggest mistakes in life.

In fact, the former multimillionaire married her shortly after he divorced Fatima Jabbe, a Gambian Nollywood actress, who is now married to Sierra Leonean opposition leader Brigadier (Ret.) Julius Maada Bio.

A source told What’s On-Gambia: “Tin Tin and Amie were living in a Presidential Suite at the Kairaba Beach Hotel. This was shortly after she had a child with a neighborhood boy in Bakau.”

There was a time when Tin Tin couldn’t keep his hands off his young bride — but few months later it was clear the couple wasn’t headed for a happy ending. It all came down crashing.

Tin Tin went broke in a big way and was kicked out of Kairaba Beach Hotel.

“The marriage ended and Amie was back on the market looking for a new man. But she later left the country after her dad passed away in Denmark, and she was invited to collect her inheritance,” said the source.

Amie married again, this time to a Gambian in the USA called Adama Nyass. It was a short-lived marriage that resulted in the actress being allegedly banned from travel to USA for 90 years.

Did the Americans really ban Amie Vivi from coming to their country? ..coming soon on What’s On-Gambia.
