Former Miss Gambia-USA, Yassin Faal has reportedly split from her Swiss-based semester husband, Saja Marong.

The reason behind the divorce is not very clear but a source told What’s On-Gambia that Saja has recently married a new wife and their photos were littered all over Facebook and Instagram.

“I heard Yassin ended the marriage after realizing they are very different people from very different worlds. She is an intelligent young woman trying to get her university degrees,” said a source.

The couple got married in The Gambia shortly after the former Miss Gambia-USA completed her senior secondary education.

Yassin, who is widely considered to be one of the most beautiful Gambian girls in the USA, managed to keep the marriage firmly under wraps.  

Our source added: “She realized she had married too soon and had been swept away by a bit of a whirlwind romance.”
