Mam Tuti's husband, Kissima Gassama has finally broken his silence, days after it emerged that she cheated more than 20 people on the pretext of providing them US visas.  

Some of her victims alleged they paid thousands of Dalasis to her, but she failed to provide them visas.  

"She told us her mum works at the US Embassy," said a victim 

In a chat with What's On-Gambia, Mam Tuti’s husband, Kissima disclosed: "My wife is admitted at the hospital in serious condition after trying to commit suicide. I don't know whether she will make it 

He continued: "I would like to apologize to all the victims and the people my wife offended. I am deeply sorry about everything she has done. Please, for the shake of the Almighty, I beg everyone to please forgive her." 

Mam Tuti was a migrant in the USA, where she worked in a salon for many years. Since her return to The Gambia, she has been involved in criminal activities and was once sent to Mile 2 prison.  

But a source close to her family said Mam Tuti is now trying to put her life back together. She got married to Kissimi on the 6th June in Latri Kunda German.
