A Norwegian national residing in Mariama Kunda, in the West Coast Region is under serious accusations of engaging in inappropriate activities with underage boys whom he allegedly meets through social media platforms such as Badoo, Facebook, and TikTok.
According to sources, the man is believed to own a business in The Gambia, but reportedly spends much of his time connecting with boys online and inviting them to his residence.
A source told What’s On-Gambia: “He lives in Mariama Kunda, where he brings boys to his house. One of his victims is my cousin, who is only 15 years old.”
When asked why the incidents were not reported to law enforcement, the source speculated: “I don’t know. I guess he gives them money and gifts in exchange.”
In a video seen by What’s On-Gambia, the man could be seen engaging in explicit behavior during a video call with a boy.
The Gambia is increasingly becoming a safe haven for European pedophiles. They often pose as philanthropists to gain access to children, whom they exploit in exchange for gifts.
