A PIU officer is reportedly under investigation for alleged misconduct involving a group of young people on Senegambia beach. According to sources, the officer may face expulsion from the police force following accusations of harassment.

An anonymous source stated, "The officer is not part of the Tourism Security Unit (TSU), but it’s alleged that he frequently visits the beach and has a history of similar behavior."

Videos reportedly recorded on the officer’s mobile phone were circulated on social media, sparking widespread discussion about privacy rights and the legal implications of such actions. The officer was arrested by TSU personnel and detained. He has since been transferred to the PIU Headquarters in Kanifing for further investigation.
