Recently, a young bride caused quite a stir in Brusubi as she passed through the streets on a donkey cart, heading to her wedding reception.

Her unconventional choice of transportation brought businesses to a standstill and drew cheers from dozens of onlookers, who admired her unique approach in contrast to the common trend of hiring expensive cars, such as limousines.

The bride was elegantly dressed in white and wore a red wig. According to a source, "She's not Gambian. From her accent, she seems to be Sierra Leonean."

The source added, "I’m not sure if she was a real bride, but she mentioned that weddings shouldn’t be extravagant and advised women to stop spending excessively on weddings."
