Before her husband became The Gambia’s 3rd president, Sarjoe Mballow-Barrow was rarely seen wearing a wristwatch.

However, less than one week after the international community pledged a total of 1.45 billion Euros to The Gambia for the next 3 years, the Second Lady is now an MK fan.

Pictured recently alongside her co-wife, Sarjoe was spotted wearing an MK watch worth more than a teacher’s annual income. This marks the first time she has been seen wearing a luxury watch.

Her husband, President Barrow, who was running a small property management company before his election victory in December 2016, was in Brussels to co-host a donor conference for The Gambia organized by the European Union.

He thanked Europe for their financial contribution in support of the democratic and economic transition in The Gambia
