Journalist Modou Lamin Jammeh, famously known as Sultan, took to his Facebook on Sunday and declared that Youssou N'Dour is way better than Wally Seck.

The Brikama-born journalist was among the hundreds of Gambians who attended the Senegalese superstar's 2022 Grand Bal at the Independence Stadium in Bakau.

"Stop comparing Youssou N'Dour with that Small Boy!", he wrote on his Facebook.

The post gathered over 200 likes. One of his friends commented: "Comparing Youssou with Wally is like saying a forklift is faster than a Ferrari."

Another wrote: "Youssou is in a league of his own. The kid too is a star but I think he needs twenty plus years of consistently making good music to be able to get to Youssou's level."

But some Wally fans were not happy with Sultan's post. One Adama John argued that Youssou N'Dour, who's now a grandfather, should start going to the mosque and leave the music with the young ones.
