The Gambia bids farewell to 2015/16 winter tourist season

The sun is now shining in many European countries, and that means an end to the busy winter season in The Gambia.

Thousands of tourists, mainly from Britain, Holland and Sweden, were in the country to enjoy the heavenly beaches and also experience our rich cultures and vibrant lifestyles.

Kombo Beach in Kotu Strand was among the hotels that organized a farewell cocktail party for their last group of guests.

They wrote on their Facebook page: “Thank you to all our friends for visiting us during the last 8 months! We love you!”

According to them, they will be reopening for business on the 14th October, 2016 and hoping to have another successful season.

“We had a great holiday. See you next year,” commented one of their regular guests, Fanny Nanning-Gerrits.

Meanwhile, The Gambia Experience has rolled out attractive deals to woo British tourists to The Gambia this summer. With less than £600, you can enjoy 7 nights in the country at a luxury hotel in the famous Senegambia strip.
