In a boost to The Gambia's burgeoning tourism industry, famous German tour operator, FTI Group is set to construct two new five-star hotels in the country.
The Minister of Tourism Hon. Hamat Bah has already signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with FTI for the construction of the hotels in the Tourism Development Area (TDA). The ceremony was held in Dubai in the presence of President Adama Barrow
FTI Group is the fourth largest tour operator in Germany. They offer travel experiences in over 100 countries on five continents.
It is widely believed that the Gambia Government’s partnership with them will help the country to become the most popular holiday destination in West Africa.
In an earlier interview with journalists, Minister Bah said the government under the leadership of President Adama Barrow would remain committed to developing the tourism sector with the cooperation of private entities.
