A regional executive coordinator, handpicked by President Adama Barrow after the 2021 presidential elections, has become the talk of Kololi for refusing to give up his side chick, despite angry neighbours warning him to stay away.
The top government official, who is allegedly married, is said to sneak into the woman’s compound late at night, disturbing residents with the noise of his flashy official vehicle.
In an attempt to avoid being caught on camera and exposed on What’s On-Gambia, he now parks the car inside the compound to keep it hidden from prying eyes.
Sources say he is “madly in love” with the young woman, a light-skinned Fulani beauty with an hourglass figure, and sometimes even spends entire weekends with her.
“He doesn’t care about the neighbours, his wife, or even his position. He just loves that girl,” one resident told What’s On-Gambia.
The executive coordinator role was created by Barrow as a reward for campaign loyalists and to weaken opposition mayors in Kanifing and Banjul. But some Gambians are now questioning whether these taxpayer-funded posts are being used for public service, or for late-night romantic escapades.
