And a What’s On-Gambia investigation has revealed that the most likely Gambians to behave badly on flights are first time fliers and semesters who think they are worth millions in The Gambia.

According to a travel agent on Kairaba Avenue: “They think travelling on a flight is like a journey on a gele gele to Basse – no etiquette.”

A regular traveller who lives in the UK told What’s On-Gambia: “I prefer tourist flights – they are calm.”

There are suggestions that the airline companies in the country should introduce a code of conduct because some Gambians are not aware of what is accepted on a flight.
