She was one of the country’s most beautiful reporters and now Jemay Bah has been appointed as USA director for Smiling Coast TV, a new Gambian TV station headquartered in England.
The former Point Newspaper reporter announced the news on her Facebook wall. She posted a photo of herself captioned: “USA Director For Smiling Coast TV.”
Jemay was married to Interior Minister, Hon. Ousman Sonko. They met when she was working as a reporter.
The couple, who have a son together, split a few years later and Jemay moved to the USA to start a new life. She wrote a book, chronicling the experiences as a journalist and wife of a minister.
