STS Pictures has launched a new traineeship, which aims to help young Gambians to explore and develop their creative talents.
Speaking to What’s On-Gambia, the founder and director of STS Pictures, Shiekh Tijan Secka disclosed that they currently have nine trainees.
“It is a free three-month training program focused on photography, cinematography and editing,” he said.
The award-winning video producer added: “Our course aims to inspire, equip and coach the trainees on their journeys, with an end goal to contribute to a wider community of creatives in the country.”
STS Pictures is one of the leading photo and video production companies in The Gambia. They were behind Bai Babu’s Fahass video – which still remains the most viewed Gambian music video on YouTube.
