A European woman currently vacationing in The Gambia has contacted the Grand Bantaba to reveal his controversial encounter with a married Lebanese-Gambian man.
The woman, who identified herself only as Bri, wrote: “My name is Bri, and I’m currently in The Gambia on vacation.
I want to share a story involving a Lebanese-Gambian man named Ali (surname deleted), who is married to an Asian Muslim woman. He’s the son of Mr. (deleted), who used to own a supermarket.
What I find troubling is how some Lebanese men often speak poorly about Gambian men. They tell foreign women that Gambian men are "worthless" and only interested in chasing white tourists on the beach. Yet, here we have a clear example of hypocrisy.
Ali, who thinks he’s better than Gambian men, proved otherwise. Despite being married, I asked him to come over — and without hesitation, he paid for a taxi and came all the way from Bakau to my hotel just for sex. He stood outside for over an hour, waiting, all because he believed it would be free and easy.
The point of this message is not to shame, but to highlight a lesson: before you judge others or speak badly about them, take a good look at your own actions. You can be whoever you want in this life — but don’t pretend to be morally superior while doing worse behind closed doors.”
